What's Happening?

Hi! I am Joyce Weeks aka Geoff's Mom Pattern Co.
I purchased Quilt St. George from Marian Gallian and we will be continuing to have a wonderful Quilting Retreat and fun friend time!

I have some fun things planned... I want to have lots of OPEN Sew and a few fun classes. If you are like me when I first started attending quilt retreats all I did was take too many classes and had no time to sew or finish my projects. Don't get me wrong I love quilting and various craft classes but I had WAY too many unfinished projects. I guess this probably never happens to you???

I am working on some new dates because I don't want to conflict with other local Quilt retreats so you won't have to choose between other venues.

I moved to Washington, Utah (St. George area) almost two years ago and I LOVE it here!
The weather can be a bit on the warm side in the summer but we do have air conditioning.

I want some feed back from you guys!!!
Are you wanting more open sew?
What type of classes are you interested in?

Spread the word that Quilt St George is going to be a fun time for all!!!!

Please leave your comments here...

Thanks friends.. old and new!!!

Joyce

A Garden of Quilts - theme for this years Quilt St George

I was reminded that I have not updated this blog in a really long time.  My apologies.

This years theme for our 3rd annual retreat is "A Garden of Quilts".  There is still room in all classes and lectures so it's a good time to make plans to attend in January.  See you then!

Time to start looking at our new retreat schedule

We've had a few months off and done lots of planning.

This years retreat will be held Jan 6th to 10th, 2015.  We have a new location.  It will be at the Courtyard Marriott in St. George.  We have a group of rooms blocked for anyone who wants to stay there.

We have a great group of teachers coming.  22 in all.  and 70 classes.  There is sure to be something for everyone.  Come check out our website at www.quiltstgeorge.com.  Registration starts Friday August 15th.

Take a look at out beautiful theme quilt designed by Vetmari.  Vetmari will be at our quilt showing us her latest designs.
