International Quilt Invitational and Exhibition at the Brigham City Museum of Art and History

There are 2 featured artists at the Quilt Show which opened July 2nd and closes August 24th.

One is Noriko Endo of Tokyo Japan.  Noriko is an art quilter sho captures the rapture of nature in her quilts.  Many of her quilts incorporate toothpick size pieces of fabric and the detail is amazing.

The other is Helen Butler from Alpine Utah and she is a traditional quilter.  Helen's quilt "Turkish Delight" won first place in the Bed Quilts, Machine Quilted category in the 2012 American Quilter's Society (AQS) Show and Contest.  It has won several other awards as well.  We are so lucky that Helen one of our teacher's this coming January at Quilt St. George.  See her class here.

On Aug 10th Helen is teaching a Needleturn Applique workshop at the museum.
